A Pink Bird for Spring

I'm so glad that we're in a slightly warmer clime now--one that doesn't require jackets to go outside during the last part of April (I remember this day.  It was frigid!  And look at the dead grass!).  I was especially happy to put the pink bird on this page, with hopes that it would bring spring along with it.

Sweet little homes always make me smile.

Pie in the Face

Recently our school sold pies for a fundraiser.  Every student who sold at least one pie had their name put in a drawing to throw a pie in the face of either the principal, or one of the most popular teachers at school.  My kids each had their name in the pot, and both the boys were chosen!

 After all the students from the drawing had their chance two teachers were invited to throw pies as well.  Both Dogger's and Goosey's teachers were chosen.

 Please take note of Mrs. D's face in each picture.  Priceless.

First home

I can't believe it was only ten years ago that we decided to build and purchase our first home!  I'm so glad I've recorded the story and process because I'm sure someday the details will fade from my memory.
