Oh, and did you know that the Celtics have the best record in the NBA right now. Yep, I'm pretty sure all of New England thinks it has died and gone to heaven.
Because I know a little of everything, but not a lot of anything.

New England to be Translated.....or so they're expecting
So we're not into professional sports. I admit it. But really, I'm not looking forward to this Sunday. The World Series was bad enough. And now the Super Bowl too? If the Pats win I'm sure it'll be like this again.

My dream
Photo by icahlaI want a little farm. Really, just a little one...3-5 acres. Small enough to manage, but big enough for all the things I'd like to do on the farm
I want a small orchard where I grow enough apples, peaches and pears to can for my family each year. A good sized garden. I'd grow strawberries, raspberries, beans, pumpkins, tomatoes, brussels sprouts, cucumbers, corn and squash.
I think we should keep some animals too. A cow for beef, chickens for eggs, maybe a horse if the kids are interested in riding. Most definitely a cat to keep the mice away and a dog to warn us if the chickens are in danger.
It all sounds so perfect and restful to me.

30
I don't look forward to my birthday. I haven't for a long time (I think it goes back to my 7th birthday, the one when my parents car was stolen)-- there have been too many rough ones......too many let downs. So, I'm really, really not looking forward to today....the day I turn 30.

Dogger to his sister: Hey nail!
Goosey: I'm not a nail.
Dogger: I'm a hammer.

Happy Birthday Lew!
Lew is one today! He's getting to be such a big boy--mimicking his siblings, exploring and giving lots of kisses and hugs. Lew was our surprise baby, but we can't imagine this last year without him.

Happy Birthday Dogger
Dogger's birthday was last Friday. I can hardly believe he's three....but suddenly he looks like a three year old to me. I feel so blessed to be Dogger's mother. He makes me smile every day. He is a tender, considerate, little guy and I love to be around him. What a wonderful three years we've had with him.
