But that question shouldn't only be about our products – it needs equal attention for our team members and the structures we have.

As a fast-growing startup that has quickly grown from 1 to 50 employees, we’ve been through several team transformations. Mistakes have been made along the way, but we’ve learned from them to try and build a truly world-class company where everyone can thrive.

Our team is set to increase to 100 people in the coming year. We want to take the company to a whole new level, and are looking for an exceptional VP of People to ensure our team has the right conditions in place to achieve their absolute best.

You know how to do that. You’ve undergone the strain of moving a startup to a proper scale-up and beyond. You fight for the things you believe in, and are ready to have healthy debate with our CEO and leadership team to create the very best company possible. We believe you have experience as an HRBP, since your work is going to be at a strategic level.

You get tons of energy from seeing people happy in their work. And you know that happiness doesn’t come from free food or a vacation policy. Responsibilities

  • Implementing the internal processes, policies, and conditions that enable our people to produce their best work
  • Making our hiring and employee onboarding process world-class
  • Managing employee performance and development
  • Work with all the existing managers in the company and streamline company-wide career development and continuous feedback loops
  • Driving standardisation across departments
  • Building strong relationships across the company to ensure cross-functional collaboration


Requirements

  • Proven experience in mentoring, motivating, and leading high-performance teams and people
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Willing to roll up sleeves to accomplish stretch objectives
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Impeccable integrity and ethical standards
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, familiar with asynchronous remote ways of working
  • Great initiative, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ideally knowledge in the field of the Norwegian Working Environment Act
