Free trial

Before purchasing a Timely subscription, you can trial the entire app free for 14 days to check out how automatic time tracking would work for you with no strings attached. During your trial, you have access to all of Timely’s features. This should help you build a better understanding of which features you’ll need to get the most out of Timely going forward.

Once your trial period ends, everything you've tracked in Timely will be saved, so there's no need to rush into a decision. If you do choose to subscribe, everything ー all your logged hours, projects, users, reports and memories ー will be there as you left it.

If you don't know how much time you have left in your trial, head to Settings > Subscriptions and check your trial counter in the top-right corner:

Once your trial has expired, this dropdown banner will appear:

At any point during your free trial with Timely, you have the following options:

  • Subscribe to Timely

  • Do a bit more research and come back whenever you like

  • Delete your account (but this will mean losing your tracked data forever!)

Once your trial expires, you will need to purchase a subscription to continue using Timely. While you can still see the Memory history from your trial period even if you aren't subscribed, you won't be able to actually use any Timely functionality — like logging time or creating projects and reports — until you subscribe to a plan.

Plans and pricing

Then hit “Proceed to Payment” and add your payment details:

Finally, click the green “Pay $XX” button to initiate payment.

You'll know the request was successfully processed when you've been redirected to the Subscriptions page. From here, you can review you account status, update payment and invoice details, and access your payment history.

  1. Log into Timely

  2. Click the icon on the top left-hand side of your screen

  3. Click "New Workspace"

I’m missing features that were available during my trial. What can I do?

During the free trial, you can access all Timely's features. However, they may not be included in the final plan you choose to subscribe to. If you realize you're missing something crucial after subscribing, reach out to our Success team who can explain our plans and any in-app "upgrade" messages you may have encountered.
